WEEKEND TIPS / FAQs

What should I wear to the wedding?

The wedding is black tie, and we’re so excited for an elegant evening under the rocky mountain sky. The evening will be partially outdoors. We recommend bringing a light layer for when the mountain air cools.

Will transportation be provided during the weekend?

Downtown Aspen is effortlessly walkable, with most weekend events taking place throughout town, making it easy to relax and enjoy the weekend:

Friday

Shabbat services and dinner will take place at Chabad of Aspen, within walking distance of the main downtown area.

Saturday

The day is yours to enjoy Aspen at your leisure, with optional group activities with the bride and groom. Details to follow. The evening celebration will take place in town and be easily walkable.

Sunday

Transportation to the meadow will begin in the early afternoon. Additional details to follow.

What is the plan for Sunday (the wedding day)?

The wedding will take place in one of the most extraordinary settings in Aspen, just five minutes outside of downtown, in the meadow behind Joshua’s family home, a place that holds special meaning to us both. Transportation will be provided to and from downtown Aspen, with details to follow.

An evening set against the backdrop of a Colorado sunset awaits.

High Altitude Tips

Aspen sits at about 8,000 feet above sea level, and while the mountain air is part of its magic, it can take a little time to adjust. To help you feel your best:

Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Take it easy on your first day, go light on alcohol and physical activity.

The sun is stronger at this altitude, so remember to apply sunscreen and wear sunglasses with good UV protection.

The weather in Aspen is ever-changing, especially when the sun goes down. We recommend bringing a light jacket throughout the weekend.

If you happen to feel lightheaded or experience a mild headache, take it slow and rest, your body will quickly adapt. Most importantly, enjoy the fresh mountain air and your time in the beautiful Rockies!
